 Formed in 1894, a small village side playing on a field, with the local drinking houses in the village supplying the changing and bathing facilities. These days Newbold plays Parkfield Road, Rugby.

Newbold is currently in Midlands 2 West, two leagues below the Nationals where they finished mid-table in 2005/06 and 2006/07. There is a fine line between amateur and professional rugby. Money should not be the deciding factor governing the differences in the standard of rugby at which we play.
