Mr. Womble Snr For those of you who don’t know, our beloved ‘front rower’ Womble reached a milestone recently. Not getting through a 2nd team game without offering encouraging support to young Mark Todd, but being successful in securing ‘FREE’ travel on our local buses. This great achievement was made possible by reaching his 66th year. Mr T. Blair commented on the monumental achievement by telling his ministers; ‘This great man is an inspiration to us all, his enthusiasm for his sport and commitment to his club is a rarity these days. If only you lazy sods showed the same spirit’. Congrats Womble and here’s to the next 65. |
