The Newbold 2nds and Colts failed to secure a suitable tie from the pool, so with the 1st team away at a cup tie an internal fixture was set up comprising the 2nd team and colts that wanted to play. 35 in all ran out for a full 80 minutes controlled by a certified referee.

The first 20 minutes was very evenly matched although the Black side started to get the upper hand when the Reds began to give away silly penalties. In total 14 to the oppositions 4.
