Earlsdon U17 5 Newbold U17 29

The big Earlsdon pack took a bit of shifting but Newbold got the better of them by the end of the first quarter. Inside centre Dan Lenton stepped up again with another good performance. His co-centre Robbie Bunn continually hammered his opposite number, and also skipped through for team try of the season. Simon Webb scored from 50 metres, Fraser Morris then notched a cracker in the corner. In between, Alex Donal-Pitter jinked, sidestepped, danced and shimmied though to scored under the posts. Dan O'Brien then scored the final try, and topped up the score with his boot. Newbold now look forward to a tough game at home this Sunday against close neighbours Rugby Lions.
