A sound win for Newbold who came back from the massive early blow of losing influential Ben Thompson in the first half with a broken leg. Shipston went 5 up after sustained pressure, and Alex DP bundled over for the equalising score. Resuming on the spare pitch, Shipston went ahead with a penalty before Webby screeched in for a try in the corner. A long range penalty from Dan O'Brien settled some nerves before Suchy hammered a trail down the touchline for a converted try to see off really good opposition. Exciting stuff - but the injury list is getting as long as Newbold's unbeaten run.
