Newbold U17’s 39 Woodrush U17’s 13

Newbold started the season with a good win over a side they drew with last year. Though error-ridden early on, Newbold found some rhythm and soon picked up where they left off in the Spring. Robbie Bunn scored first to get things going, and played well throughout, as did his brother at scrum half. Woodrush pegged Newbold back with some good scores before Andy Horne scored three blistering tries - the third from his own half. Webby screeched in for one, and The Fish capped a bristling game with a try of his own. Isaac Spencer was not going to be stopped from 10 metres late in the game to round things off. Unfair to single out any others as everyone did the team proud with their morning’s work.
